
After reading the instructions, please fill out the online application as thoroughly as possible. When you are finished, click the SUBMIT button on the left column of any application screen.
Print the application agreement statement that appears after you submit your application. Return it, signed and dated, to the campus where classes will be taken (see below).
Applicants for Health Science programs must complete an additional program application form available in the Office of Student Services.
There is no application fee.
Submit an official copy of GED certificate or high school transcript or college transcript(s) to the campus where classes will be taken.
Transcripts must be on file prior to admission or during the first term of enrollment.
Students who have graduated from a non-accredited high school or received an Alabama Occupational Diploma must score 16 on the ACT or equivalent score on the SAT, or successfully pass the GED exam.
Contact the Office of Student Services to schedule an appointment to take the COMPASS placement test.
Students who can provide documentation of ACT subtest scores of 20 in math and 20 in English on the same score report and are enrolling in BSCC within three years of high school graduation should contact the campus testing coordinator to review placement.
Transfer students must submit official copies of all college transcripts.
Transient students must submit an authorized transient student form from the degree-granting institution.
Accelerated high school students must be in grade 11 or 12 and must submit a special admissions approval form authorized by the high school principal or counselor prior to enrollment.
Dual enrollment/dual credit applicants must have an overall B average as earned in standard, regulation high school courses, normally leading to the high school diploma, be enrolled in grade 10, 11, or 12, and must have written approval of the principal, local superintendent of education, and the president of Bevill State Community College prior to enrollment.
Six semester credit hours at the postsecondary level shall equal one credit at the high school level in the same or a related subject.
The applicant must meet the entrance requirements established by Bevill State Community College.
Students wishing to apply for admission under the provision of the State Plan for Exceptional Children and Youth must contact the Office of Student Services for additional information.
Some programs require a minimum ACT score to be on file prior to consideration for admission.
